A song by some of my favorite artists grouped together.
A song that has haunted me for years.
Today I saw the video for the first time - it is both disturbing and amazing.

dis.connect
How do we expect this to work? We grovel in a culture of disrespect yet we crave to connect with something, and someone, outside of ourselves.
Disrespect, by design, short circuits a lasting, meaningful, and fulfilling connection with anyone or anything.
Entertaining.
Empowering.
Excessive.

The Revolutionary War
I remember, as a child, having an ongoing fascination with The Revolutionary War. Blue Coats vs. Red Coats. I realize that maybe, just maybe, there is a part of me that wants to live through a revolution.
I do not want to purchase a revolution, as in the form technology.
I do not want to consume a revolution as a spectacle - reported to me through news media.
I want to live through a revolution.
Where to start? There are so many causes - so many battles to fight. So many wrongs to make right that the thought of action becomes almost meaningless. What battle is worth the threat of real or perceptual death?
A revolution of the heart.
I believe
we need to experience a revolution of the heart.
